I owe my love of animals, felines in particular, to my mother. For as long as I can remember, cats and dogs have played an active role in our household and family. Frankly, I can’t remember a moment in my life that I have spent without the cherished company of a furry friend, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
It was only expected of me to carry this fondness for kitties along with me when I moved out of my parents’ house and into my own. Just one month after settling in, I adopted an adorable 2-week old neonate tabby which I named Mura. Caring for such a tiny life has been undoubtedly difficult and stressful, at least until she got a clean bill of health from the vet.
Nevertheless, if I could go back in time and relive it, I wouldn’t change a thing. This experience not only made my love of animals grow a million times stronger, but it also brought me closer to my small Mura girl.
Contributing to an animal lover website came as a natural continuation of my journey, which is one I can’t wait to share with you guys! Because you know what’s better than being owned by a furball? Sharing that affection with a community of like-minded people that have amazing stories to tell.
Meet Mura. Alison’s owner for a year now, she’s a feisty and spirited tabby with a heart of gold. Hobbies include being annoying at 5 a.m., playing with her own poop, and purring all over the house.
